The Role
The successful candidate will:
Teach Humanities across the secondary school, with the ability to specialise in History or Geography.
Deliver engaging lessons that align with the IB Middle Years Programme (MYP) and Diploma Programme (DP).
Encourage students to think critically, explore global issues, and develop cultural awareness.
Differentiate instruction to meet the needs of a diverse student body.
Integrate inquiry-based learning and technology into daily practice.
Contribute to interdisciplinary projects and whole-school initiatives.
Support students’ academic progress and overall wellbeing through effective communication with parents and colleagues.
Candidate Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in History, Geography, or a related subject, plus a recognised teaching qualification (PGCE, B.Ed., or equivalent).
Minimum of two years’ secondary teaching experience, ideally in an IB or international school setting.
Familiarity with IB frameworks (MYP and DP) and a commitment to inquiry-led teaching.
Strong communication, adaptability, and collaboration skills.
Enthusiasm for working with students from diverse cultural backgrounds.
