About the Role: Ralph Recruitment is seeking a dynamic and experienced Upper Primary Teacher to join a growing British school in Jumeirah, Dubai. This is a full-time teaching role with additional Middle Leadership responsibility for Science across the primary phase.
The successful candidate will play a key role in shaping the delivery of science education while maintaining high standards in their own classroom practice. You’ll be part of a collaborative and supportive team in a school that values innovation, wellbeing, and academic rigour.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver engaging, high-quality teaching to Upper Primary students, aligned with the English National Curriculum.
Lead science planning, resourcing, and curriculum development across Key Stage 2.
Support colleagues with subject knowledge, assessment, and differentiation in science.
Monitor student progress and attainment in science and lead data-informed improvements.
Collaborate closely with senior and middle leaders to support school improvement initiatives.
Foster a positive, inclusive classroom culture that promotes curiosity, resilience, and achievement.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in Education (or PGCE/QTS equivalent).
British teaching qualification and recent experience in a UK or British international school (essential).
At least 3 years of successful classroom teaching, with experience or ambition in subject leadership.
Strong knowledge of the UK Primary Curriculum, with a passion for science.
Proven ability to inspire, challenge, and support learners of all abilities.
Excellent communication, teamwork, and organisational skills.
